We love all types of animals and have several resident pets. Appropriate B&B pets are house-trained, enjoy being around other people and animals, especially dogs, and do not bark too much. There is a one-time $15 per pet fee.
We would love to meet you and your horse anytime of the year. Our best riding months are May through October. Your horse will enjoy a safe, 4-rail paddock area. Some have barn cover and some are open air. We'll provide plenty of fresh water. Please bring your horse's own hay for dietary consistency. The 15-acre pasture is fenced for those who like to let their horses graze. You will have easy access for your truck and trailer right up to the barn. National Forest horseback riding trails surround the property and we offer easy access. We can provide maps of the area or bring your own. Trail difficulty ranges from meadow rides to steep mountain trails to everything in between. You won't forget the incredible Colorado views that surround you everywhere you go. Our round pen is perfect for some safe ground work or riding. For out-of-state guests, horses must have proof of negative Coggins testing within the last six months. We also have a local, mobile veterinarian in case of emergencies. Guests are expected to provide their own safety equipment, fly spray, and grain. We do require that all riders sign a written waiver upon arrival. Guests should note that while we do provide horse hotel services, we are not able to provide access to horses for trail rides. If you are traveling without your own horse and would like to reserve a horse to ride, there are plenty of opportunities in the immediate area. Please visit our Attractions and Activities page for the contact information of several local dude ranches and stables or call us and we will be happy to make arrangements for you.
